Best Friends Forever Pet Services™ is run by a nationally awarded pet sitter and certified pet care specialist. Our Petsitting Service area includes: Granada Hills, Northridge, Sherwood Forest, Lake Balboa, Tarzana, Reseda, Canoga Park and Winnetka.

Who is Your Pets BFF?

Heather Branch has dedicated her life to pet care for the last 15 years! She is a  lifelong owner of cats and owner of rescue dog Sam, an 11 year-old Bouvier des Flanders/Poodle mix (Flandoodle!!!)
 
Heather possesses a unique skill and empathy caring for sick, elderly animals especially in hospice situations. Kitty "Buddy" had cancer and survived 2 1/2 years after diagnosis. (Buddy was treated with chemo and daily medication).
Shortly thereafter her little beagle "Dixie" had to be treated for severe IBD for towards the end of her life. Izzy Dog suffered with Cushings Disease and Canine Dementia, and Annie Cat had bone cancer.

Heather believes that pets wellness must be a blend of working closely with your veterinarian, along with a holistic, homeopathic approach and crucial attention to nutrition, diet and supplements. All of these foundations are the critical basis in caring for your pets.
 
Heather is certified by the Animal Behavior College as a dog trainer and veterinary assistant and has successfully completed Pet First-Aid & CPCR training, Pet First Aid & CPCR Instructor Training, as well as classes on Caring for your Senior Pet, and Understanding Canine Body Language. She is trained and professional; certified by the National Association of Professional Petsitters and served on the Board of Directors for NAPPS for five years.

Heather Answers:  “WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT?” 
“Before I started pet sitting, I got certified as a dog obedience trainer and a veterinary assistant (working behind the scenes at a vet office and with a mentor dog trainer). I also called up my own wonderful pet sitter and asked her for her blessing and advice. She brought me into her company and mentored me, instilling a Spirit of Service along with the basics of professional pet care.

Our companies merged within a couple of years and soon after we earned the esteemed honor of being named Business of the Year from the National Association of Professional Petsitters.

In 2017, I was appointed to the NAPPS Board of Directors to help steer our professional organization into the future of our ever changing pet care industry”.
